Study these Bible verses

from God’s Word on the subject

1. Everyone is a sinner. There are no exceptions. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” (Rom. 3:23)

2. Death means separation forever from God. Eternal life comes by trusting Jesus Christ.

“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Rom. 6:23)

3. God loved us so much that He gave His Son to die for our sins. “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Rom. 5:8)

4. To be forgiven, you must believe that Jesus died for your sins and declare that you accept Him as Lord of your life. “If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.” (Rom. 10:9).

5.  This is God’s promise that if you accept Jesus as Lord, He will accept you. “For  Whoever will call upon the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Rom. 10:13)

Call upon the Lord now as you pray this prayer.  Dear God, I know I have sinned by breaking Your laws, and I ask for your forgiveness.  I believe that Jesus died for my sins.  I want to be forgiven and receive Jesus as my Savior.  I will follow Jesus as my Lord and obey Him in all that I do. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
